Dental Radiographs and other imaging modalities are used to diagnose and monitor oral diseases,  dentofacial development and the progress or prognosis of therapy. Radiographic examinations are performed using digital imaging or conventional film. Digital imaging offers reduced radiation exposure with an advantage of image analysis that may enhance sensitivity and reduce error's introduced by subjective analysis.
